Compact 3.3m drum mower and topper that mounts directly behind the tractor, making it easy and safe to use on undulating and steep country and able to run on smaller tractors than other mowers of this width. Handles heavy crops and difficult cutting such as brown top, bullrushes and lucerne, and gets through topping fast. Four skids under the cutting drums stop scalping even when cutting low, and a spring loaded top link helps it follow ground contours. Rugged belt drive with heavy duty cutting drums; simple to set up and operate. Fitted with two Wilter spreaders, whose slow speed spring steel tynes lift the crop off the drums and spread it in the same pass for a fast, even wilt for baleage and hay; remove the tynes to leave tidy windrows. Cutting width 3.3m, transport width 3.18m, height adjustment 25-75mm, 1000rpm PTO, 6 or 21 spline drive shaft with over-run clutch. For tractors 90hp and up. Weight 650kg. Blade options: red stepped (MBLR), blue half step (MBLB) or straight (MBLS). Optional add-on: topping skids (M3TS2), which raise the cut height by 40mm for a stubble length of about 70mm, ideal for mowing ahead of the cows and on stony ground.
