Versatile 2.5m drum mower and topper for all the mowing and topping on the farm, from hay crops to bull rushes, and well suited to kikuyu control because it mows low without scalping. Long skids under the cutting drums hold the blades at an accurate height, a spring loaded top link helps it follow ground contours, and spring loaded breakaways on both linkages absorb impacts in place of shear bolts. Robust belt drive with sealed bearings needs minimal maintenance, and it does not need folding for transport. Works with the Wilter spreader, whose slow speed spring steel tynes lift the crop off the drums and spread it in the same pass for a fast, even wilt for baleage and hay; remove the tynes to leave tidy windrows. Accepts Cat 3 quick hitch linkages. Cutting width 2.5m, transport width 2.95m, height adjustment 25-125mm, 540rpm PTO, 6 spline drive shaft with over-run clutch. For tractors 70hp and up.
